The primary difference that I found between Lewis and Maxwell is the approach each one takes while explaining the words and their corresponding etymology. Lewis makes it much more easier and fun to attack the word I’d recommend this a great companion book aboutt Norman Lewis’s ‘Word Power Made Easy’.

Lewis makes it much more easier and fun to attack the words and master them. This book would have felt like a drag if it wasn’t for Lewis. Sep 25, Jaikrishna rated it it was anf. The authors have done a wonderful job in finding the origins of certain common words.

This book includes puzzles that are engaging and quite challenging. Feb 04, Prashant rated it really liked it. This is one of those indispensable books for vocabulary building. I read it during my MBA preparation days and thoroughly enjoyed it.
